Interreg IV aims to promote cooperation between European regions and the implementation of common solutions with regards to economic development and environmental management. It consists of three components, namely: A, cross-border cooperation; B, regional cooperation; C, transnational, interregional cooperation. It is financed under the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) for a period of six years (2007 – 2013).
ResilieNtWEB is co-funded by Interreg IVB, which promotes better integration within the Union of large regions in different countries facing similar problems. It involves national, regional and local organisations. ResilieNtWEB addresses sustainability issues in North-West Europe.
